I am advised by Prof. Steven Feiner.

My Background

I received my BS in Industrial Engineering in 2002 from University of Wisconsin − Madison. As an BS student, I concentrated my coursework on efficiency, optimization, systems design, simulations, and programming by choosing my electives from those areas.

Following my graduation from UW-Madison, I took a full-time position at ZS Associates in Evanston, Illinois — a consulting company that specializes in helping pharmaceutical firms optimize their sales and marketing efforts.

As a part of their “Business Technology” track, my primary focus was deriving business intelligence from high-volume data sources using tools like SAS and SQL. During my 6-year tenure at ZS, my role in the company evolved from being a leading analyst to include various types of consulting tasks, such as designing dashboards, interfacing between ZS- and client-personnel, and mentoring/training junior associates.

In 2005, I relocated to New York City a part of the ZS team responsible for ensuring a successful launch of their NYC office.

In 2009, I completed the requirements for the MS Computer Science degree at Columbia University with a concentration in Computer Vision and Graphics. You can find the list of the classes I took on this page.

CS 4172 TA Site

CS 4172 TA Site

My Coursework

Fall 2011
